I Regret Selling My Old Boomboxes

This radio of component cassette decks is a rare find these days. The sound quality is not great, but the volume is decent. The LED lights are bright, and the radio has good reception, including shortwave. It also plays .mp3 files and has Bluetooth, which makes it worth the price. The cassette to .mp3 record feature may not be high quality, but overall, it's a cool and functional piece of equipment. I recommend it if you're looking for a retro-looking, multi-functional radio with acceptable sound quality.

The main complaint I have is that the radio only allows for songs and albums to be played in alphabetical order, and does not have a random or shuffle option.

I recently received my radio delivery and was surprised to find it had been left in its regular box with a big picture of a radio on it, making it easy for potential thieves to spot. This has made me hesitant to order any more electronics, as I worry about the risk of theft.

This retro-inspired boombox with tape, FM, AM, and Bluetooth is a great purchase for $40. While I don't expect audiophile-quality sound at that price, the sound is good and it can get pretty loud for its size. Its vintage look is a big plus for me, and I appreciate that I can use either batteries or charge it. The Bluetooth connection was easy to set up with my Google Pixel, and it also has options for playing tapes, aux, SD, and USB. It's a perfect portable boombox for anyone who wants a stylish way to play music on the go, not just those who grew up in the 80s.

The sound quality may not be the best, but this device is so much fun. It has every kind of connection you could want, including a radio and a working cassette player. You can even skip through songs using the controls on the box. It was the star of the party and will continue to be for a long time. If you grew up with one of these, it's a must-have.

The UPS driver was impressed with this product when he delivered it to my rural area. I bought it for its good radio reception, which turned out to be true. It would be nice to have a micro tuner dial, but the big wheel works well. It also plays old cassettes and has Bluetooth and a thumb drive. The sound quality is pretty decent for a portable player.

The radio was easy to set up and connect to multiple devices like my Windows 7 PC, Android phone, Samsung TV, and Sound-core Headphones & Earbuds. Amazon delivered everything on time to my nearby 7-Eleven locker, and the packaging was well done. I even bought some ice cream while I was there. Thanks to everyone for a great experience.

I am fond of the compact size and design of this little boombox. I chose the silver one because I find it more attractive. The LED lights at the bottom that sync to the music are a nice throwback to the more stylish and captivating portable radios of the past. The bluetooth capability is also a feature that I really appreciate.

The Riptunes boombox I own has good AM, FM, and shortwave radio reception, along with Bluetooth and USB capabilities for playing music. However, the cassette recording function produces distorted audio, similar to another Riptunes unit I own. The sound quality is best through Bluetooth and USB, while cassette playback is decent. If cassette recording is important to you, consider the Sony CFD-S70 boombox instead. Overall, I would give this unit four stars for radio and tape playback, and five stars for Bluetooth/USB playback.
