I recently purchased a vintage style boombox for nostalgic reasons and it has exceeded my expectations. As an 80s baby, it brings back so many great memories. I wasn't expecting the best quality for the price, but the features and overall value make it a steal. The Bluetooth function works well and although I haven't tried the tape deck yet, I'm very satisfied with my purchase. The boombox is small and cute, perfect for anyone looking for a nice vintage styled device. I took a black and white photo to enhance the vintage look and feel. Overall, I'm pleased with my purchase.

This radio is perfect for the swimming pool area. It has BlueTooth, but you may not want to hear cell phone notifications over the speakers. Luckily, we enjoy a great 70-90s station that is perfect for listening to while relaxing by the pool.

She can play tapes, connect it to her phone or computer via Bluetooth, and it also has AM/FM radio. The turquoise color is a bonus since she loves turquoise.

I had some issues with the SD card adapter not working properly, but once I switched it out for a micro SD card, everything worked great. The Bluetooth connectivity can be a bit inconsistent, but it's not a deal breaker. The sound quality is okay for the price. Overall, it's a nice replica, but I had to return it due to a warped back. I'll be buying another one because I still enjoy it.

I am satisfied with my purchase overall, but I've had some issues with the cassette tapes getting stuck in the mechanism, which is concerning. The eject button is starting to stick already. I can't get enough of this amazing Boombox! The sound is top-notch and it even includes a power cord stored in the battery compartment. The extendable antenna is a great feature. You have multiple options for power, including the cord, 4D batteries, or connecting via Bluetooth, USB, or SD card (sold separately). Note that batteries are not included.

I have fond memories of my Sanyo boombox from the 80s, and this one reminds me of it. It has cassette and AM/FM features just like the one I had, but also has Bluetooth capabilities and two shortwave bands. The UPS driver was impressed with this product when he delivered it to my rural area. I bought it for its good radio reception, which turned out to be true. The Riptunes boombox I own has good AM, FM, and shortwave radio reception, along with Bluetooth and USB capabilities for playing music. However, the cassette recording function produces distorted audio, similar to another Riptunes unit I own. The sound quality is best through Bluetooth and USB, while cassette playback is decent. If cassette recording is important to you, consider the Sony CFD-S70 boombox instead. Overall, I would give this unit four stars for radio and tape playback, and five stars for Bluetooth/USB playback.

I was excited to unbox this vintage style boom box and it definitely gave me some 1980s nostalgia. The bright silver case and shiny chrome trim made it stand out, and it had better sound than other radios I compared it to. However, I was disappointed that the USB port and built-in digitizing features didn't work for me. Despite the manufacturer's promise of customer support, I couldn't get any help. I still found a workaround by connecting it to my computer using a patch cord, but it's only compatible with older computers. On a smaller note, the radio dial pointer was slightly off-center, which was a bit annoying.

The boombox is very loud at maximum volume, which may be too loud for some people with poor hearing unless used outside. It has instructions in English, French, and Spanish, and offers four radio bands: FM, AM, Short Wave 1, and Short Wave 2. The tape deck sounds good, but not as great as a dedicated tape deck from a sound system. It also has a three-band equalizer and a 3.5 mm stereo headphones jack.

The boombox can be powered by 110V/220V AC or 6V DC. However, the DC power cord is not included and the instructions are very small and difficult to read. The image listing the different parts of the boombox is also in black and white, making it hard to distinguish. The numbers for each item on the image are extremely small and difficult to read without a magnifying glass.

Overall, the boombox has additional features such as the ability to play music from a USB drive or SD card, as well as the ability to convert music on cassette tapes to .mp3 format and record tapes. It seems to be suitable for the reviewer's purposes, but they have no other experience to compare it with. Therefore, they cannot recommend or suggest any negative aspects.

I purchased this boombox for a friend who prefers old-school technology over modern streaming. The addition of Bluetooth is a nice touch for when I want to play music from a more current platform. I tested the Bluetooth and radio functions, and they worked perfectly. However, when I tried to use an SD card, I realized that the slot only accepts Micro SD cards, not standard SD cards as the listing suggested. I had to purchase a different card as a result.

The boom box is similar to what I remember from the 1980s, but with added Auxillary, Bluetooth, and USB features. However, recorded content on a flash drive is not compatible with other mp3 players. Additionally, there is no digital display showing the song number being played. Despite these drawbacks, I will use the unit for playing radio, tapes, and other devices through the auxiliary input. I do appreciate the LED lights.
