This retro cassette player with Bluetooth is a great value for the price. The display was a bit off, but the sound is loud and the equalizer works well. The video has not been added because the ones already available are accurate enough. If the price looks good to you, feel free to go ahead and purchase it. Once I received the unit, I played an old Stevie Wonder cassette from 1980 that I bought a couple of years ago and never used. It sounded great, similar to a classic Sanyo or Technics unit from that time. The radio works just like a unit from 1982 and is perfect for listening to games. I listened to some hip hop on a college radio station on the FM dial and it sounded crystal clear in perfect stereo. The unit also has all the Bluetooth functions and USB, making it easy to plug in a CD-R player to listen to CDs. I put in 4 D batteries for an old school appeal and it worked perfectly. I love this unit and was considering buying the silver one, but decided to give someone else the chance to have it as a holiday gift. Maybe next year I'll get an upgraded model. It's been a month and I haven't encountered any issues. The 4 D batteries are still going strong and the Bluetooth connection is very strong and in stereo. The sound is great and the tape deck works fine. I haven't digitized any old tapes, so I can't review that aspect. If you have super rare live cassette tapes that need to be digitized due to sentimental value, I wouldn't recommend this unit. Instead, go to a local audio dealer for assistance.

After growing up in the 80s, I had been researching boom boxes for a while. I came across this one on Amazon and was curious to see what $43 could buy me. It turned out to be a great purchase for the price. The build quality is solid and it has a good amount of features, but the sound is just average. It's functional, though. I briefly considered returning it and spending $80 on a different one, but I decided to stick with it and use it until it stops working, just like I did with boom boxes in the 80s. I'll upgrade next time.

The radio should have included more color options instead of just black. One review mentioned that there is no AC cord included, but it's actually located in the battery compartment. The AC adapter is not included, so it needs to be purchased separately. Other than that, I am satisfied with the product for the most part. The graphic equalizer is a helpful feature for tuning into radio stations accurately. Overall, I have no complaints about the radio and will keep it because the price is right.

This legacy boombox is a versatile player that can handle cassette tapes, AM & FM radio, and can even record them to Mp3 on a thumb drive. It also functions as a quick bluetooth speaker for a cell phone, making it a very modern and up-to-date player. Although it can be a little tricky to learn to record, with a few trials and errors, I was able to digitize some precious memories from old cassette tapes. This is the first gadget I have found that can do it all in one unit, and it does it quite well. Just be aware that if one setting doesn't seem to work, try adjusting the switches in a different way. The directions may not be the best, but I am grateful to have this device!

This little boombox is exactly what I was looking for. The buttons are a bit clunky and the sound is a little tinny, but that's exactly what I wanted. It reminds me of the boomboxes I remember from my past. The radio tunes well and the tape player works as advertised. I also love that I can make mp3s from my mixed tapes just by pressing play and record on the USB. I've already made 3 and I'm thrilled with the results. I bought the Riptunes Boombox to convert some audio cassettes to USB. The process was easy, but I recommend doing a practice run with a blank USB. I am very happy with the Riptunes little boombox. It is nicely designed and well made, and mine did not have any of the issues that other reviewers mentioned. The radio and tape player sound great, and it is lightweight and perfect for indoor use. I absolutely love my Riptunes radio. I mostly use the USB port, Bluetooth streaming, and regular radio, but I haven't tried the tape deck or memory card slot yet. I use it while showering (not inside the shower with me) and when working outside. The sound quality is very impressive, with balanced and clear sound, and it's plenty loud. The product is acceptable for the price. I appreciate that it doesn't have a lithium battery, so I can leave it plugged in the garage without worrying about damaging the battery. It's not as large as it appeared in the ad picture, which is my own oversight for not paying closer attention to the dimensions. I initially bought five of these tape recorders in June 2021 to convert my cassette tapes to digital. They worked well at first, with good sound and record quality. However, after about a year, they all started having the same issues, despite varying usage. The cassette players now distort the sound when playing tapes, and they no longer auto-stop when the tape ends. When recording to USB, the voices are distorted and some recordings have feedback. I'm disappointed that they didn't last longer and that the company doesn't stand behind their product. I wouldn't recommend these for heavy use, and I regret not buying the extended warranty.

I was hopeful for this radio, but it turned out to be disappointing. It consistently eats cassette tapes and has difficulty playing music from flash drives or memory cards. Next time, I'll invest in a higher quality machine. Even the buttons appear cheap. The only redeeming quality is the decent Bluetooth functionality, but I already have a Bluetooth boom box.

This product is supposed to digitize cassette tapes, but it's not very effective. First, it only allows digitization to a USB thumb drive and not directly to a PC. Second, the button activation for digitization is finicky and requires precise timing. Third, the tape drive is weak and noisy, resulting in half-speed recordings. Fourth, the volume of the digitized recording is dependent on the volume at which the tape is played, requiring loud volumes and causing disturbance. Overall, digitizing cassette tapes with this product is difficult and inconvenient. It took me over 30 days to realize this, and it seems that other similar products may have the same issues.

The recording function of this unit does not work well. It produces quiet, garbled, and hissy recordings when using Bluetooth input.
