I bought this sound machine for my grandbabies, and it's okay for the price. However, I would recommend investing in a better quality one with more enveloped sound, especially for a baby's home. This one sounds a bit tinny and cheap, but I'll make it work for Grandma's house. I've found that it sounds a little better if you flip it on its side.

The sound quality is great and my almost 3-year-old loves the lullabies. He even switches the sound back to his lullaby if I switch it. I also enjoy the white noise and water sound, they don't sound fake. It has helped my toddler stay asleep, which is a big relief. We don't use the night light because it's too bright for him to sleep. I appreciate that it's simple and easy to use and that you can turn the timer off so it stays on the whole night.

This little sound machine is great. We returned the Hatch we received at our baby shower because it was difficult to set up and not user-friendly. Instead, we got this sound machine and a simple night light, which are much more reliable and easier to use, as well as more affordable. I highly recommend them.
