I acquired this player almost a year ago as a birthday gift for my mom, who wanted to play her old cassettes. The radio works very well and has good mono audio. I like that it has USB and SD ports, but unfortunately it started playing the cassettes at a slower speed after only three months of use. The six-month warranty no longer applies, so I can't return it. It is disappointing, since it is a very attractive product.

The packaging was very poorly done. Upon opening the bag, I discovered that the box containing the item was torn. The volume on the device is faulty and produces a lot of static. It is also unable to play all mp3 files from a flash drive and the SD card slot does not function at all. I decided to return it. If all of its functions had worked properly, I would have kept it.

The radio/cassette player is a good option for beginners, with solid build quality. The radio has a lot of static and the tuning is tricky. The cassette player works well, but the rewind and forward buttons are reversed.

Yesterday I received the Riptunes Retro Radio de 4 Bandas y Reproductor de Casete con Bluetooth (Negro). When I tried it, I noticed a strange sound, almost like a short circuit or grounding issue. After checking, I confirmed it's not the antenna causing the issue. I also noticed that when it's plugged in but turned off, the sound persists. I returned it, but I do hope to purchase it again in the future. I just wanted to let you know to check your products before sending them out. Thank you.

The speakers and bass control are decent, but I wish there was more power and better sound quality. The recording function is not great, as it slows down and speeds up. However, playing cassettes is good, but the sound quality feels weak. The radio is actually really good and I love it. It can also record from radio and aux, and possibly from USB and SD to cassette. The size is smaller than it looks in pictures, but it fits in a decent-sized bag. It takes 6 C batteries, but can also be used with a cord. The handle is slick and the aux works well for mp3. I prefer mp3 over Bluetooth. Overall, it's pretty good for what I bought it for.

I appreciate the feature of being able to record cassettes to a flash drive. However, the internal transformer makes a noticeable sound that only stops when the player is unplugged from the power source. Other than that, it is a good product.

I purchased this boombox for my boyfriend as a Christmas gift because he had a collection of cassettes from his parents that he wanted to listen to. He also wanted a Bluetooth speaker for use around the house, so I was thrilled to find this product. He loves it and it works perfectly. While it is on the smaller side, we actually like the size. The sound quality is excellent and we have had no issues with it.

The radio, cassette, and Bluetooth all work well, but I was disappointed that there is no 'x-bass' on the speakers. It's not a big deal though. I love how cute it looks! Most of the functions are controlled by switches and knobs, just like in the good old days. It's perfect for my metal cassettes. Overall, it's a great purchase!

I received the radio today and was excited to start using the Cassette to MP3 recording feature. However, I had trouble figuring out how to make it work properly. The instruction manual was not very helpful, and the recording process did not go as expected. The rec light did not come on, and when I tried to listen to the recorded file on my laptop, it didn't work. I will continue to try and figure it out, but so far I am disappointed with the Cassette to MP3 feature. On the bright side, the radio sound quality is great, with good bass. Overall, I am happy with my purchase, despite the issues with the recording feature.

I saw this Boombox in person and it's even cuter than I expected. It has a switch on the top with 4 modes: radio, cassette tape, SD card/USB input, and aux/Bluetooth. In Bluetooth mode, you can play/pause and skip songs with 3 small buttons on the top left, and it connects easily. The sound quality is decent and you can adjust the bass and volume, which goes very loud. It can be powered by 4 D-batteries or with the included power cable. The only downside is that there is no power on/off button or switch, so it seems to be constantly powered on unless it has no batteries or the power cable is unplugged.

The main issue with this boombox is that it does not seem to have any output. I had hoped to use it to digitize some old cassettes, but it does not provide the necessary output. Despite some conflicting answers, the unit does have an auxiliary port but does not have a headphone jack. Additionally, while one answer stated that it would not play music from a phone via Bluetooth, mine certainly does. The unit has some nice features, but its lack of output is a deal-breaker for me. Another customer suggested using a horn connection, but I'm not sure what that means.

I recently purchased this unit and it arrived the next day. The quality of manufacture is solid and normal. I am currently listening to a mixed cassette tape I made in 1985 and it sounds the same as it did back then. The radio works fine, but the antenna is a bit flimsy. It's a straight cassette deck that plays one way without auto reverse, and it also records to the tape deck. Unfortunately, there is no output or headphone jack, only an aux in. I plan to use the aux in to play CDs from my portable CD player. I'm excited about the cassette player, but the hydraulic slow door opener is a bit of a pain to close. The Bluetooth, SD card, and USB inputs are nice to have, but not essential for me.

The unit appears to be mono as there is no left/right fader, but it plays back stereo if the source is stereo. It's not very loud, but the sound is clear with no distortion. Overall, it's not a boombox and would have cost around $25 in the 80's. For $50 today, I would expect it to have both aux in and a headphone jack at least, and be stereo with a left/right fader, USB out, and an EQ in a perfect world. Comparable units from the 80's had multiple inputs and outputs, were stereo with faders and input gains. However, the unit works fine and I'm happy with it. I appreciate its small size and it's great for what it is.

The boombox worked fine when I tested it before taking it with me, but by the end of my 4-hour security shift, nothing was working. I used battery power and didn't drop or throw it, just placed it on the floor or rest between my seats. Everything worked at the beginning of my shift but one by one, the radio, USB, and cassette player stopped working, as if the power was turned off. The radio works at my house now, but nothing else does. I didn't expect much, so I guess that's what I got. It sounded good when it was working, but I do not recommend buying this item. A mono system would be a better choice. It could be used as a paperweight, but I already have a few of those.
