I purchased this for my child, but it ended up being smaller than I expected. Also, it makes a high-pitched sound when left plugged in, which can be annoying if you're not using it. However, aside from those issues, it was a good gift and my child loves it.

This cassette player is perfect for playing my 1990s Star Trek audio books with great sound quality. It's compact and doesn't require a bulky stereo deck with a cassette feature. The sound is clean and crisp, and the volume level is just right. I also appreciate the flashdrive feature for playing music compilations saved from the computer.

The Bluetooth connectivity works well with other devices, but the native cassette player runs too slowly. It's best to use a cassette player with Bluetooth to connect to this unit. The memory stick feature works great, and if you have a Bluetooth sending device with sound editing features, you can improve the sound quality. The FM radio works well, but there was no reception on SW channels. The sound is tinny and lacks bass, so I wouldn't buy it again based on the sound alone. The cassette player is disappointing, especially considering it's supposed to be a top feature of the unit.

The cute little radio with 2 speakers that I bought mainly for cassettes works well for AM/FM, but I had trouble getting good reception on SW 1 & 2. I called Riptunes for help and was told someone would get back to me, but never heard back. Now their call system just goes in circles and I can't reach anyone. I left a message but never got a call back. I love the radio, but the lack of response from Riptunes is disappointing.

I purchased this boombox for my office and was pleasantly surprised by its quality given the price of $40. It is quite heavy and does not feel cheap, even the box it came in was of high quality. It has multiple features such as Bluetooth pairing, SD card and USB drive compatibility, and even radio and cassette functions. While I may not use all of these features, it's nice to have them available. I would consider purchasing another one to use at the beach or park.

The radio has a classic look and all functions work well, but the volume control in FM mode is a bit sensitive. It goes from quiet to loud very quickly, and even at the lowest setting, the volume is almost too loud for a work setting. The Bluetooth function works well and allows you to adjust the volume with your paired device. Overall, it's a good radio for the price and has a nostalgic feeling.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the tape player and radio receiver I purchased for $35. The added bonus of a little computer was unexpected, but it performs well. The sound quality is good enough for my needs, and I am impressed by its ability to play MP3 files in timestamp order. It seems to be easily manipulated, although I am not sure how it would work for Windows users. Despite not running Windows, it understands file systems, USB storage, Bluetooth, and MP3 files. It's amazing to me that such computer power is available at a low cost.

This retro boom box has better audio quality than expected and can get very loud without distortion. It could use a little more bass, but it's still better than other retro boom boxes I've tried. The build quality seems solid, and the buttons, knobs, and dials all feel secure. Bluetooth pairing is quick and the sound quality is great. The cassette deck works perfectly, with fast forwarding and rewinding, and playback sounds just like it did in the 90s. I haven't tested the recording or MP3 playback yet.

This product is exactly what I was looking for - an affordable player with cassette, FM, and Bluetooth capabilities that has a retro design. Despite being smaller than expected, it is well-made and does everything I need it to. The Bluetooth pairs easily with my phone and the cassette player works well after running it without a tape in it first. The sound quality is decent, especially when the bass is turned up. It doesn't have auto-reverse, but that's not a big deal. Plus, it's been a hit with my 8 year old, who loves having his own tapes to play. Overall, it's definitely worth the $46.

The speaker's sound quality is average due to its mid-size and lack of heavy bass or wide range, especially when using bluetooth. Radio reception is not great overall, with FM working okay, AM barely working, and SW not coming in at all. The aux in quality is better over bluetooth than over aux. There is no bass, but the bass knob can help get things into the mid-size driver's range. Overall, the radio looks good and functions adequately, but it's not particularly impressive. If you can afford something better, you should probably go with that, but for the price, this radio is versatile and adequate.

The product is cute and portable, with good Bluetooth connectivity and sound quality. The radio function is also enjoyable. However, the tape deck has disappointed me. The recording quality is poor, with static and wobbly playback. Tapes recorded elsewhere also have playback issues unless directly plugged into a wall outlet. If you are primarily interested in the tape deck, this product may not be suitable for you. If you just want a fun radio, it will work well.

The tape player works well most of the time, but it often folds or tears the tape. However, the radio sound quality is good for the price range, and the tuner is fantastic. It can pick up difficult stations without interference. The mini card and USB features are not useful to me. The tape propulsion technology is primitive and hasn't been upgraded. I am saying goodbye to my old tapes soon.

I inserted 4 D batteries and tested all the features on the radio. After switching to the tape/off position, the radio should have turned off, but a low, faint sound continued to come from the speakers. I attempted to push other switches, but the only thing that stopped the noise was removing one battery.

This review has been quite challenging to write. If you only plan on listening to music or audio cassette tapes through the built-in speakers, then this machine is for you. It has a nice appearance, is well-built, affordable, and compact, making it an ideal gift for someone who only wants to listen to audio cassettes or MP3 music through the built-in speakers. However, the 4-watt built-in speakers don't provide a strong output. I was disappointed to discover that the SD card and USB flash drive slots are only for playback, not for recording. Additionally, the lack of a headphone or audio out jack was a deal-breaker for me. Overall, while I appreciate the look and feel of the machine, its limited output capabilities led me to return it, which was disappointing.

This product, called Riptunes, does not live up to its advertising. It lacks an AUX/Line out and a headphone jack, making it impossible to digitize audio. The USB, SmartCard, and Bluetooth interfaces only allow audio playback, not recording. It's a waste of money and should be avoided.
