I bought this recorder player in order to listen to old cassette tapes and language tapes. The first one I received didn't work at all, but the company replaced it right away. The replacement is made of cheaper materials than my previous one, being all plastic and made in China. The buttons are not clearly marked for people with poor vision, but they are fairly standard. However, I'm glad that it works, and I appreciate the company for replacing it.

This product hasn't been used in a while, but the sound is still loud and clear. It's easy to use and I use the power cord that comes with it. I also tried it with 4 C batteries and it worked well, but the battery space is very tight. Sometimes the tape sticks a bit and the eject button doesn't always work, but it eventually does. Overall, I'm satisfied with this product.

This recorder is a faithful reproduction of classic cassette recorders from the 1970's. It is compatible with old tapes and has the same vintage sound quality. It comes with an AC adapter, but be sure to check the packaging carefully as it can be easily overlooked.

I initially thought this recorder would be useful for playing old language tapes. It seemed to work fine at first, but then it jammed and I ended up breaking it while trying to remove my tape. I felt guilty about returning it, but in the end, I had to throw it in the trash.

The cassette recorder I purchased had issues with its automatic stop feature, only stopping on occasion when it was supposed to stop automatically. I returned the unit and exchanged it for the same model, but the replacement also had issues with automatic stop, only stopping in play mode and not for rewind or fast forward. This was not as advertised and I found it to be deceiving. I will not purchase this product again.

The old cassette tape player works well except for the rewind button, which requires continuous holding to rewind tapes. Additionally, the recorded sound quality is poor, with mechanical background noise overpowering the voices and music.

I am extremely satisfied with your product and am considering purchasing another one in the future as a backup. I am also planning on buying the Maxell UR cassette tapes as they are difficult to find. Despite having a digital recorder, I find that your cassette recorder offers superior sound quality. I may be considered old-fashioned, but I believe that older technology often provides better sound. It's worth noting that records are making a comeback. Just because something is new doesn't necessarily mean it's better. As a member of a college band, I've found that even my younger professor agrees that the sound (analog, perhaps?) is superior. I don't usually leave reviews, but I've had bad experiences with Jensen recorders in the past. They always seemed to fall apart quickly. So, I decided to try out a Riptunes recorder for playing my cassette music in the car and it was much better quality. After finally throwing out my last Jensen recorder, I decided to get a backup Riptunes recorder just in case. You never know when cassette recorders will stop being made, like how DVD recorders did.
