The recording function only works if both buttons are held down continuously, rather than the advertised one-touch feature. I have ordered a replacement in the hopes that it will work as expected.

I recently purchased a device to play some old tapes from the 1970s that my family recorded while we were living in New Zealand. The tapes were messages we sent to our grandparents back in England. I now own about a dozen of these tapes and wanted to take a trip down memory lane. The device I purchased is just as good and easy to use as the tape player I had back in the 1970s.
