These speakers are great for near field use, such as at a production desk. The movie setting adds a vibrant expansion to the sound, making everything stand out. I'm not sure if this is achieved through simple EQ or if the device incorporates a multi band compression, but I'm very happy with the sound. My only reservation is that when used at flatline settings, there is a lack of treble. The treble setting has to be turned up to get a natural sound. The remote is of normal size and better quality than those supplied with some similar speakers on the market, and seems to work very well. The construction seems decent and sturdy. I may purchase this product again in the future if available. I would also like to explore if there is a 3 way version of this speaker available.
