The Riptunes machine has a great sound, especially with the bass. The radio doesn't have any static when it's on, and the station comes in clearly when the antenna is adjusted. However, there was a green sticker on the CD cover that left a mark when removed. Otherwise, I'm satisfied with everything else.

This device is well-made and relatively light-weight and compact, but it has a big sound. I didn't need the CD player, but the AM radio reception is not very good, at least not inside. The FM reception is good, and the digital tuning works well. I specifically ordered this device because it includes Bluetooth, so I can play I-Heart-Radio AM through the Bluetooth to get around the problem of AM reception. I can also play music on my cell phone via Bluetooth through the device.

Pros:
- This device is very versatile, as it can be used as a Bluetooth speaker, has a microSD input, an AUX input, a CD player (not mentioned in the description but it can also play MP3 CDs), and AM/FM radio.
- It comes with a convenient remote control for easy management.
- The radio antenna is retractable.
- It has dual power options, as it can be connected to the power outlet with the provided cable or used with the integrated battery, which is very convenient.

Cons:
- The biggest downside is the audio quality, given its size and shape, it was expected to be better. The bass is poor and the mid/high range is not good. It sounds decent only when directly facing the speakers.
- The build quality is not great, as it is mostly made of plastic.
- The software for managing MP3s is really poor, as it lacks the ability to choose or skip to the next folder, or skip a specific number of tracks.

In my opinion, its perfect use would be in a garage or workshop where audio quality is not a priority but sound is needed. The value for money is not the best.

I still have a lot of old CD's from the 80's and 90's that I don't want to get rid of, so I listen to them on a CD player. The sound and clarity are good, and it can get pretty loud for its size with decent bass and treble. The remote works well and all my CD's played without issues. For the price and sound quality, it's a great buy and sounds just as good as my old Sony player. The bluetooth works well for streaming videos and overall it's a good purchase.

Unser alter CD-Player ist vor einiger Zeit kaputt gegangen und wir konnten keine H��rspiele und H��rb��cher mehr h��ren, besonders meine Meditations-CDs haben mir gefehlt. Ich war froh, dass ich den CD-Player testen durfte und habe ihn gleich bestellt. Mir gef��llt der integrierte Akku, da ich keinen Stromanschluss habe, wo ich ihn aufstellen wollte. Allerdings ist der Akku im Standby-Modus nach 2 Tagen leer und muss dann wieder aufgeladen werden. Das helle blaue Display st��rt mich auch, besonders beim Einschlafen. Ansonsten funktionieren Radio, Bluetooth und CD gut. Der Klang ist f��r leise Musik und H��rspiele in Ordnung, aber bei lauter Musik fehlt es an Tiefe und B��ssen. F��r den Preis von 59,97 EUR ist das jedoch akzeptabel. Man bekommt f��r 60 Euro kaum eine gute Bluetooth-Box, geschweige denn einen gro��en CD-Player mit Akku.

I recently ordered this stereo through seller's Vine program. Products like this Riptunes Boombox bring a sense of nostalgia for those of us over 30 (I've been over 30 for over 20 years now!). This stereo would have been a hit with young people years ago, but today it feels a bit out of place.

The stereo arrived in a well-protected cardboard box, complete with a remote control (including 2 AAA batteries), a power cable, an instruction manual in Italian, and a packet of information and stickers from the manufacturer. The stereo has a rounded shape with a small monochrome display on the front and all the control buttons on the top. The CD player is accessible from the top, with an old push system that is not the most practical solution.

On one side, there is a USB port and an AUX port, as well as a headphone jack. At the back, there is a power input and an On/Off button. In addition to the previously mentioned sources, the stereo also has FM/AM radio and Bluetooth connectivity. The non-removable 2000mAh battery allows the device to be used without direct power.

The audio quality is not exceptional. The volume level is significantly higher with the radio or Bluetooth than with the CD player. The sound is rather flat, especially in the bass, and it is not possible to adjust the individual tones. However, there are preset options like Rock, Pop, Classic, and Jazz. All functions can be controlled from the stereo or with the convenient remote control.

In conclusion, this Riptunes product is somewhat outdated. The features it offers can easily be replaced by a smartphone and a Bluetooth speaker, and many smaller speakers offer better audio quality. Despite its affordable price, I fail to see the appeal for the manufacturer, except for perhaps older individuals who still want to listen to their CDs (although they would probably prefer a record player!).

In the words of the younger generation, it's a bit prehistoric!

This little machine is really nice with good sound quality and good radio reception. I ordered it because I wanted a machine with all the features on the top, and this one comes the closest. I am absolutely thrilled with my power sound box. The price is unbeatable for the incredible sound it delivers. I didn't even realize it had the added bonus of lighting up and changing colors when the music is playing, but I am definitely not complaining. Many of my CDs that have been stored in sleeves and kept zipped up are not being recognized by the CD function. I have not been able to reach anyone at Riptunes for assistance.

This product would have been perfect if it wasn't for the CD player. It works well for using as a radio, bluetooth speaker, or mp3 player, but the CD player is a major letdown. It adds unnecessary pauses between tracks, making it unusable for classic or live concert CDs. If you're looking for a CD player, I would recommend avoiding this one.

This affordable boombox is best suited for general use and is not to be compared to top of the line speakers. The radio reception indoors is okay, but the BT connection is not good at all. It's best to load desired songs onto an SD card and use that feature for the best value. Overall, it's worth the purchase price as long as you plan to use the SD card or USB feature instead of the radio and BT.

The radio functions well but lacks a pause button for audiobooks. To pause playback, I have to turn it off and then switch it back to cd to resume from the same point, which is inconvenient. Additionally, the electrical cord is loose and comes out easily, so I have to use duct tape to secure it.
