I really ended up enjoying this boombox! The sound quality isn't top-notch, but for playing music while working, it's perfect. I appreciate the ability to play CDs or connect to my phone via Bluetooth. It also has spots for an AUX cord and even a USB drive, which is something I've never seen before in a music player. The radio function is a bit slow and the music level caps at 30, but it's loud enough for my office. It doesn't have much bass, but that's actually a plus for me. The silver color and design give me a nostalgic early 2000s vibe, which I like.

I bought this Riptunes stereo specifically for the CD player, since I have a collection of CDs that I never listen to (I should do it on the PC using an external CD player, but it's more convenient to download songs from the internet in real time). The shape is the classic one for a device that has the CD player on top and the speakers in front: nostalgically I preferred the old, narrow parallelepipeds of the 80s, but obviously the size of the CD itself has led the market in this direction for some time. Since I was forced to bed for several days in a row, I had the opportunity to fully appreciate my CD collection on the stereo thanks to these factors: - the small but complete remote control allowed me to control the device completely remotely - the sound quality is balanced at all frequencies (with the equalizer you can vary the responses based on predefined musical styles) Obviously this stereo also has other very practical functions including FM radio, Bluetooth playback and integrated battery to allow playback without external power. From my point of view, 5 stars as it perfectly fulfills the task of CD playback with acceptable audio quality for a portable device like this.

This type of player is essential for those of us who love vinyl or CD records. It may not have a cassette player, but nowadays few people remember them. I had to get a new boombox because the old one stopped playing CDs. This new boombox has excellent sound quality and offers AM, FM, and a CD player. It also comes with a remote and can be used with a cord or rechargeable battery. It has Bluetooth and a USB port. Plus, it comes with a 5 year warranty, which is rare these days. The radio reception is much better than my old one. I really like this boombox and highly recommend it.

I absolutely love this Riptunes CD boombox - it's amazing! I bought it specifically for a local radio talk show that I listen to every day, and it picks up the stations perfectly, unlike previous radios I've had. The sound is clear and the design is modern and sleek. I also use it to listen to Christmas music on CDs almost year-round. The seller provided detailed information before I received it, and I am very impressed with the quality. I haven't used the USB or Bluetooth features yet, but I'm sure they work just as well. One important feature is that it can run on 6 C batteries in case of a power outage. I highly recommend it and can't find any cons.

I replaced my old Portable CD player with this one, which uses an 18650 Rechargeable Battery and can only be charged with the A/C plug. I wish it had the option to use Power Banks, but I have a DC/AC inverter for camping. So far, the battery has lasted for 6 hours while playing the radio outdoors. It has all the options I need and works well. Mine came charged and ready to use. It's a great value at just under $60 and I highly recommend it. It would also make a great gift.

I thought, and ordered it as soon as it was offered to me, that such a boombox is a good thing. Especially since it has many practical additional functions. A classic boombox with Bluetooth? That's something! And then a long-lasting battery... very good! That's at least what I thought and I went for it. The setup is quick and easy, everything you need is included - even the two AAA batteries for the remote control! That's very good! The cable is quickly connected and you're ready to go. The main switch on the back also appeals to me, as it saves the built-in battery, which is now being charged while I was searching for radio stations (and found a few). The reception with the extendable antenna is good, I can't complain here. The CD is a top loader. Lid open, CD in, lid closed - let the fun begin. No problems here, the CD was immediately recognized. Then connected my phone to the device via Bluetooth. The iPhone recognized the boombox and let the music play through its speakers. There is a slight noise between tracks, but it doesn't bother when playing music or an audiobook. The connection between the notebook and the boombox via the aux interface also worked flawlessly, as I noticed during a movie night. I output the film through the notebook and the sound through the boombox, as it didn't work with HDMI, no idea why. But as soon as the boombox was connected to the headphone output of the notebook via an aux cable, we could enjoy the movie sound. Still had USB to try. So I got a stick, copied a few songs onto it, inserted it - nothing. The boombox couldn't find any songs on the stick. So reformatted, re-copied the songs - nothing. I can say that I tried everything, but in the end I had to give up - no music or audiobooks from USB. But that's the only downside. The battery lasts for several hours, the remote control works well, and we like the sound. Especially since you can choose different basic settings such as pop, classical, etc. Despite the USB glitch, the price-performance ratio is good; I give it 4 out of 5 stars in the end.

This player was purchased for my elderly parent to listen to old Christmas CDs. The buttons are a bit small for someone with less dexterous fingers, but the sound quality is decent for the price. The manual stated that the LED on the display should be red when charging and blue when charged, but the machine does not turn on when unplugged. The remote has been tried and I get a fleeting red when plugging in the cord, but it immediately turns blue. However, if I had paid for this, I would be happy with the machine. I might contact Riptunes for advice as they provide a QR code and email for customer service. The radio reception is good and the controls work perfectly. The tone can be changed and there is a sleep timer. The controls are visible and easy to read. Bluetooth, USB, and AUX all work great. Overall, the machine sounds good and does what it's supposed to do.

I would have been thrilled with this in the 90s, and I still love it now. It's a great radio with a CD player, and I can listen to my CDs all over my house and outside. I can also connect my phone or USB, and use bluetooth. The presets are automatically scanned and programmed, so I can't set them myself or delete any. That's a drawback, but I can use the remote or the radio dial to change stations. The remote is a nice feature, and it also has a sleep timer function.

We were looking for a portable device with FM, CD, USB, and Bluetooth playback for use in the garden and on the go, which can be operated with a battery and also charges the batteries in the device. That's when we came across the Riptunes Boombox. It comes with a remote control, which we personally don't necessarily need for outdoor use, but is convenient for indoor use. The controls are labeled, but we still kept the user manual handy. One thing we noticed right away is that there are supposed to be 2 indicators next to the display, one for the battery and one for the signal, but there is only one for power on the device. When the battery is low, lo appears on the display, and when it's fully charged, the power LED changes from red to blue.

Unfortunately, the batteries are not removable. The packaging indicates 7.4V / 2000 mAh, which suggests that it uses 2 standard Li-Ion batteries. It would be useful if they could be replaced when needed and charged in the device. The radio has 30 preset stations, which are automatically assigned by the receiver during scanning. The preset number is only briefly displayed when changing stations, otherwise it shows FM and the frequency. There is no RDS display. The numeric keys on the remote control do not function for setting preset stations.

The EQ button allows for different sound modes to be selected, such as Pop, Jazz, Classic, and Rock, and there is no sound adjustment displayed on the screen. In CD and USB mode, playback starts immediately, without displaying the number of tracks or total play time, and starts from the beginning each time it's turned on. There is no fast forward or rewind, but jumping to another track is possible. The Bluetooth mode works well, and my phone displays the Boombox as Riptunes B4. Overall, it's a decent device that may not have the latest features like RDS, but its big advantage is the battery operation with a built-in charger and various connection options. Taking everything into account, including the price, 4 points are appropriate.

I purchased and returned two Bluetooth speakers, one from B.B. and the other from seller. Both had terrible volume and various control and cord problems. After reading reviews, I found that many others had the same issues. Eventually, I found a speaker that worked well, with perfect volume, great sound, easy controls, and a reliable cord. I just got this radio/cd player today. It's user-friendly and has the basic features I wanted for playing music while I sleep. I have been searching for a speaker with a USB input that can play WMA formatted music, and I finally found one. This boom box not only meets my requirements but also has additional features that I haven't explored yet. The sound quality is good for me, although it's not as loud as other speakers. It does have some unusual pauses when turning on and during playback, but it's not a deal breaker for me. I plan to use it with batteries in the garden, so I hope it lasts. It has Bluetooth, AM/FM radio, and a CD player, but the included cables are short. Overall, I'm happy with it, but I've read some reviews about it not lasting long, so I hope it continues to work well for me.

The lights are nice, but the sound quality is not good. The radio doesn't pick up any reception, and the CD player makes a strange noise when it's being used. I can't return it because I already threw away the packaging. It might be suitable for a preteen.

The Boombox arrived in good condition in one piece, but all the additional parts such as the plug-in cord and remote control were missing. As a result, I am unable to use it.

The product is easy to use, but the bright light on the front is annoying. I had to put stickers over it to dim the light.

This product does not meet my needs as it does not have a remote control for the radio functions, which I use often. The remote only controls the CD player, which is not a feature I frequently use. I have not used the product yet, so I cannot provide a fair rating.

I purchased the CD player a few months ago and was very happy with it. However, it suddenly stopped working when I tried to skip a song while it was paused. I have tried various methods to fix it, but nothing has worked. I am extremely disappointed and upset that it stopped working so suddenly.

I was disappointed that the remote doesn't control volume and worried about the open interior of the CD player. However, the unit is easy to operate, a great size, and has clear sound. I love the dial controller for volume and find the remote useful for pausing or changing tracks.
