The sound quality of this recorder is not good, and it is not worth the money. It's disappointing because we were looking for a simple, old-fashioned recorder. I would not recommend buying this one.

The device is user-friendly and functions well with old tapes, but the quality of recordings is poor. To improve the sound quality, it is recommended to lower the volume on the recording device. This will help reduce unwanted noise and produce better recordings.

The player I received was not functioning properly, but I was able to fix it by disassembling it and repairing the DC motor that had come apart.

An inexpensive and practical gadget

This is a typical you-get-what-you-pay-for buy. The sound quality is mediocre at best (not even good for music, just okay for spoken words) and the build quality is fair at best. But for $20, you can't expect top-of-the-line. It's definitely not a premium product from the 1969-85 era when audio companies were competing to be the best. It's cheap and gets the job done.

I am extremely satisfied with the high-quality cassette tape player. I still enjoy listening to my cassette tapes and needed an affordable and user-friendly tape player.
