Playful Keyboard for plunking out some tunes on

This 49-key roll-up educational electronic digital music piano keyboard from Riptunes is great for portable use and simple music playing. It has a greater range of notes than other products, but there are some responsiveness issues, especially when multiple keys are pressed at the same time. The raised silicone keys have a slight give and there are only 8 different tones, with only 2 sounding similar. The demo mode can play 6 different songs, but you cannot play along at the same time. It can be powered by 3 AAA batteries for mobility, but the battery life may be short. There is also a risk of receiving a small shock when handling the device. Overall, it serves its purpose for casual playing, but may not be suitable for serious piano enthusiasts.

This product is incredibly kid-friendly and perfect for travel. It offers both plug-in and battery options and can be used with headphones. It also conveniently rolls up for easy packing.

The company seems to have a problem with quality control. I was initially impressed with the concept and ordered the product twice. The first time, the sound quality was great but the charging cord couldn't connect due to a faulty port. The replacement had a usable port but the sound was distorted and unacceptable. I considered returning it again but didn't want to risk a third attempt. There is potential for the product if the company improves their quality control. Other reviewers have suggested a playbook/tutorial and a child-safe battery option.

We purchased the roll-up keyboard for our 4-year-old daughter to use while on a 3-week vacation. Her piano teacher evaluated it and found that although the tone of each key is slightly softer, the notes are still accurate. We find it to be a convenient and enjoyable option for both play and practice while traveling.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this piano. It plays chords and has a variety of great features. The first one I received had a faulty a/c adapter, but the return and reorder process was hassle-free.
