I have this boombox in my bedroom and it's great for that. The volume is not super high, but at 2 watts/channel, it gets fairly loud. The megabass feature adds some extra oomph and you can record CDs onto a USB thumbdrive. Bluetooth works well with my phone, and the boombox's forward and back buttons can skip ahead/back on my phone when connected via Bluetooth. Play and pause also work with Bluetooth. The FM reception is fantastic, pulling in stations that were borderline with my GE Super Radio III, and locking them in stereo. It works well on batteries or AC, making it perfect for beach outings or cookouts. The only downside is that it doesn't have a volume leveler for USB playback, but that's a minor issue. Overall, it's a great option for my needs.

I have used various types of audio equipment throughout the 80s, 90s, and early 2000s, including radios, tape players, walkmans, CD-walkmans, and stereos with different features. The sound quality has always seemed good to me, and I have also done some recording and listened to our CD collection. Currently, I use Bluetooth to connect to my iPad for watching videos. I would recommend this audio equipment.

The UE mini boom and Riptunes speakers are the same price, but the UE mini boom, being 4 years old, has slightly better bass and volume. However, the Riptunes has more functions and allows for easier music navigation without needing to take out your phone. If you just need a Bluetooth speaker, it's worth investing in a dedicated one. But if you want more versatility, the Riptunes offers additional features at the expense of sound quality.

I was looking for a CD player with a USB port that can play MP3 files in random order. I found one with a timer and it works perfectly for me. It's not extremely loud but it's good for one large room. It doesn't come with a remote control and has some features I won't use. Overall, I'm very satisfied with it and the only thing I wish is that it could play a little louder.

Purchased this for a friend and tested it thoroughly. Impressed with its versatility and portability for the price. Easy to use features and intuitive functions. Bluetooth syncs effortlessly and the CD to USB recording feature is simple, albeit time-consuming. Great for the 50+ generation with a pile of CDs. Good FM reception, excellent portability, and adequate sound quality. Hard to read front panel LCD is the only flaw. Overall, a great little boombox.

I transferred all my old CD's and recordings onto 128 GB Flash Drives in .mp3 format for easy portability. The device is small, light, and portable, and I primarily use it in my office/workshop. The info screen has minimal lighting, with only a small red On light visible in the dark. It seems to only count up to 200 files, showing symbols instead of numbers after that, but it appears to be able to play the entire 128 GB. I haven't tested the limits of the USB port, but it has played continuously for two weeks without any issues. Overall, I am pleased with its performance, but I can't say for sure how much more it is capable of.

The device is packed with great features for its price, and the sound quality and portability are impressive. However, the FM tuning design is frustrating and the Bluetooth connectivity has issues with Apple products. It works well with non-Apple devices, but it seems to have trouble connecting to iPhones. Overall, the device is a good purchase with its features, portability, and price, but the annoyances lower my rating to 3 stars instead of 5.
