I have been using this alarm clock for over a year and I think the only thing it doesn't do is shock you with electricity to wake you up. It is loud and it vibrates, and it generally wakes me up.

I have tried numerous methods to wake up my teenage daughter, but she can sleep through anything, even vibrating watches and loud noises. I even considered using a human shock collar out of desperation. Since she is moving into a dorm, I needed a solution that wasn't too loud. I found that using a device that provides movement works well for her. She sets it to a medium sound and uses the vibration setting under her mattress. To turn it off, she has to get up and move away from the bed, which helps prevent her from snoozing. There is now hope that she may be able to wake up for her college classes.

I have partial hearing loss and was concerned about not being able to hear my regular alarm clock. However, this alarm wakes up even heavy sleepers and those with significant hearing loss. The bed shaker is a helpful addition, although I haven't needed it because the alarm is extremely loud.

This alarm works even with an 80% hearing loss while I am asleep. The vibration feature hasn't even been used. The only downsides are its unattractive appearance and the brightness could be reduced further. I highly recommend this product.

I really enjoyed most aspects of the Riptunes Alert product. However, I did find the instructions to be overly complex and difficult to follow. I believe the company should consider revising the instructions to make them more understandable, especially for those who may not be experienced with newer technology.
