The alarm is not easy to turn off as there is no separate on/off switch. The same button used to set the alarm is difficult to find in the dark. However, once you get used to it, the alarm has a great vibe and the light is fantastic. I often hit the snooze button and then turn on a light to turn off the alarm.

I have multiple sleep disorders and have struggled to wake up to noise since my disease developed. This alarm has been a lifesaver for me. I've had it since September 2019 and it still functions like new. It is extremely loud at full volume, so I recommend testing it before using it to wake up. It's important not to shock yourself awake, especially if you have heart issues. The alarm has a regular annoying beep and a strong vibrating feature. You can also change the pitch of the beep, which I love. However, I still sometimes sleep through it. One downside is that it will turn off after some time. Despite that, I highly recommend it, and I love it so much that I bought a second one.

This alarm didn't help me break my habit of sleeping in. It's loud and I even put the shaker on the floor to make more noise, but it still doesn't wake me up. After about 9 months, it stopped going off on Sundays. It does have a faulty button for setting it to only go off on weekdays. Contrary to what other reviewers have said, there is a way to disable the alarms. You have to click the alarm 1 or 2 button until it stops flashing and then hold the button down. I ended up buying a replacement, but I hope it works better for someone else.

The Great Alarm Clock is simple to set up and the vibration feature works very well. The other alarm features, including the dimmer, work effectively. I highly recommend it.
