The product has an impressive cost per purchase. It has a battery option to retain pre-set stations in the event of a power outage or if the product is unplugged. The only thing that needs to be reset is the time. It is a great value radio with the added feature of a dimming option for the red LED lighting.

This clock is very large and has a somewhat awkward shape. The red display is good and it's fairly easy to set up after the first time. It has dual alarm functionality and comes with a short external antenna wire. Overall, it reminds me of the clock radios from 20 years ago.

I bought this device to replace my beloved clock radio #T304b, which is no longer available. Unfortunately, the new device is a poor comparison. The programming is complicated, and the quality of the case and buttons is lower. However, it does have a very bright display screen and 10 preset spots for both am and fm. I hope that despite its flaws, it will last at least part of the 10+ years that my former radio did.

The Riptunes clock I purchased was sold as new but was actually refurbished, with a 30-day warranty card stating it was refurbished. It came with a few scratches and dings, and I ordered a red display but was shipped a green display, which we ended up liking better. It was part of a Mother's Day gift, and I was embarrassed that it was refurbished. It seems to function well, but I would suggest considering buying from another seller that offers new clocks. I was able to set up the clock without reading the instructions, except for the radio during alarm setup. Many people in s had trouble setting up the clock. The clock has an AM/FM radio and a round AUX/IN port on the back. To turn the radio on/off, there is a power button labeled as MODE on the top right. You need to hold it for 1 to 2 seconds to turn on/off the radio and press and release it quickly to switch between AM/FM/AUX. I didn't have to undo the coiled antenna to pick up FM stations, despite living about 30 minutes from the city. The alarm can wake you up with the radio, but I experienced some issues with that. It uses the last radio mode and station you listened to, so I had to set it up each time I wanted to use the radio alarm.

I bought this, then a srcond one after verifying it is the same as one we had for years. The light is quite bright unlike the light on the previous model. If you like a darker room it can be distracting but we dont mind.
