The boombox has a great design and build quality. The sound quality is good, but the volume levels vary per function, with the radio and tape functions being much louder than bluetooth or SD. Surprisingly, the tape deck has decent sound quality. The SW functions are also good considering the antenna size. It is portable, but it uses D batteries, which seems excessive. However, after disabling normalize volume on my phone, the bluetooth volume is now the same as radio and SD. The stereo has impressive battery life, lasting 12 days on batteries while running for 8 hours a day at nearly full volume.

This radio has everything I was looking for. It's portable and can be plugged in, has the old school boom box look, and good sound quality with a bass option. I highly recommend this radio with the extra bass sound. The tapes play well and the Bluetooth connection is super easy. The only downside is that the volume knob is very sensitive, going from muted to loud with just a slight turn. Other than that, all the features are great!

I have had the Riptunes and QFX boomboxes for a few years now and have found them to be quite versatile and worth the price. The radio function works well, with clear reception on both AM and FM stations. The SW bands are not as popular anymore, but the radio still performs satisfactorily. The ability to use a flash drive and a memory card for recording is a great feature, though the lack of a comprehensive manual has made it difficult to navigate and find recordings. Additionally, the cassette deck has a relatively short lifespan, as it stopped working after about 50-75 hours of use on two of the units. I hope that the manufacturers of Riptunes and QFX will provide a more thorough and practical manual for these otherwise versatile and reasonably priced products. Thank you for reading.

I purchased this ghetto blaster to record cassette tapes with my band. I wanted to use the SD Card or USB Key to record music, but am still figuring out the process. I have tried to record on my SD Card, but the files were blank. Currently, I am using a cord to connect the headphone jack of the ghetto blaster to the microphone jack of my computer to record music. The smaller size of the ghetto blaster makes it easy to move from room to room. The volume knob is a bit unusual - it's very loud, with a setting of 2 on the volume dial feeling more like 10+. I have not yet listened to music with the SD or USB. The cassette tape door needs to be handled with care. Overall, I think the ghetto blaster looks really cool and I am a happy buyer.

This boombox is amazing! I'm really into 80's stuff and I wanted something that looked vintage but still had bluetooth. I got the red one and it looks awesome. I was able to connect and play my 80s Spotify playlist from my phone right away. It sounds great too, especially for being so small. It's smaller than boomboxes from the 80s, but I actually like that it's compact. I haven't put batteries in yet, but I'm excited that I have the option. The radio worked perfectly without even raising the antenna. My oldies station came in crystal clear. I haven't tried the tape deck, usb port, or auxiliary in port yet, but so far I'm really impressed!

This boombox is reminiscent of the ones built in the 80s and doesn't seem cheaply made. However, the speaker's sound quality is disappointing. It's also important to let the tape player run for a minute or two before inserting a tape to avoid any issues. Despite these drawbacks, if the boombox were $10-20 cheaper, I would consider buying a second one as a gift.

I really wanted to love this retro radio and display it on my shelf, but there are a lot of issues with it. The yellow paint job is eye-catching but poorly done with orange peel and uneven coverage. There were also dents in the speaker grilles and the cassette player door was uneven. The Bluetooth button was caked with overspray.

The sound quality is mediocre, especially considering the price. The Bluetooth function was flat and not very loud, while the radio function was decent. I've owned cheaper radios that have lasted much longer and sound better. Overall, I was disappointed with the quality and will be returning it for a better product. I can't recommend this radio.

This boombox is great for using with Bluetooth or USB, but I strongly advise against using it to play cassettes. It ruined 4 of my tapes and even destroyed a brand new one. It not only eats tapes, but also breaks the little pad inside the cassette.

This product is not worth the price. It is smaller than expected and the speakers have weak drivers that don't provide much bass, despite the bass dial. When using studio quality headphones, the cassette player sounds okay, but playing digital files from a memory card is not good. I think it has a cheap DAC. Compared to similarly priced Altec Lansing Bluetooth speakers or dedicated portable cassette players, this product doesn't make sense.

The first cassette player I purchased was faulty, but seller quickly replaced it. It has a great retro look that my mother loves. The case feels solid, but the cassette buttons are flimsy. The radio works well, but the cassette reverse and fast forward buttons didn't work on the first player. The replacement player has similar issues with the cassette door sticking at times. I didn't test the newer features like Bluetooth. I had difficulty reaching customer service and found their support to be minimal. Overall, I'm giving it a 3-star review due to the non-functioning buttons, flimsy buttons, questionable door durability, and lack of phone customer service.
